Trick

You see, Trick is extremely fearful of people. In the past he has even jumped out of his owner's arms to get away and ended up breaking one of his legs. With time and patience, he will eventually bond to usually just one person and is happy, sweet, playful and affectionate. He currently lives with some very active Border Collies and Australian Shepherds and is constantly initiating play. I only allow this inside the house where I can supervise, as I am afraid one of the big dogs might accidentally step on him as Trick likes to be in the middle of all the action! I have a small Border Collie named Shiloh who is his favorite and they play for hours on end together. Because Trick is much more comfortable around dogs than people, having another dog in his new home that is playful and confident will be required. He will also need a securely fenced yard and a quiet home without children.
Because Trick may have some difficulties adjusting to a new home, we would prefer he be adopted within a few hours drive of Kalamazoo.
Trick is crate trained, loves to ride in the car, plays with toys and has been very trustworthy in the house. He currently lives with a cat and they get along just fine. He has been neutered, microchipped and brought up to date on his vaccinations. He is heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative. His adoption fee is $250.00.

Trick is being fostered near Kalamazoo, Michigan.
