Austin now SCOUT

Austin is a male purebred Border Collie who was born August 23, 2012. I was able to see both parents who are trained to work cattle. Mom was very friendly and sweet, dad was also very sweet but on the timid side. Austin came to North Star along with his three littermates Houston, Abilene and Dallas.
Because these puppies come from working stock, they will need homes that will be able to provide a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. These are NOT companion level dogs. Previous Border Collie experience will be required and because of their strong herding bloodlines - they will not be adopted to homes with children.
Austin has been wormed, micro-chipped, and given his first round of puppy shots. He will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract which means a $100 deposit will need to be paid in addition to the adoption fee, and will be held until written proof is provided to North Star that he has been neutered. At that time the deposit will be refunded.
