This beautiful girl's name is Stella and she just came into North Star November 13, 2011 from a rural shelter in Michigan. We believe her to be an Australian Shepherd mix....possibly with Border Collie. She is estimated to have been born around March 13, 2011.
She is very friendly with people and very sweet. She seems to do well with dogs and cats, but we will know more about that as she settles into her new foster home. She has already received her Bordatella and first DHLPP. She has been heartworm tested and was negative. She has been put on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. She still needs to be spayed and microchipped, but that will be done as soon as we can get her in. She will need to stay in her foster home a minimum of two weeks before she can be adopted.
