Eddie

Eddie is an 11 week old Border Collie Mix (born Mid April 2011) that came from an animal control in Michigan. He weighs about 10 lbs and is all black except for a little splash of white on his chest and his tippy toes on his back feet. Eddie and his brothers Elroy & Elvis are just little love bugs. The pups originally came from an Amish farm where they were born and kept outside. According to the animal control officer that picked them up, their mom is a purebred Border Collie and their dad, well...he pled the 5th and was either a lab or an Australian Shepherd. From the looks of the puppies they could both have been the dad. Eddie has a smaller frame like a border collie but his ears and fur are more like a lab. He loves his belly rubbed and being held. Usually the first thing Eddie does when he sees his foster mom is run up and lay on his back, so his belly can be rubbed and then he wants to be held and cuddled.

Eddie, aka Eddie Spaghetti is growing like a weed. He is super playful and loves to play with the frisbee. He is still trying to figure out how to make the frisbee turn so it's easier to pick up, so he will dig at the top of it and bite around the edges until he can get his little teeth around it. He is getting really good about bringing it back too. He also loves to fetch the wubba kong and balls in the yard. I think he is going to be a great dog for fetch and probably frisbee from the way he is playing now. He does the border collie stalk when playing with his brother and loves to wrestle with him. Eddie is super sweet and loves affection. He also loves to play with other dogs. He doesn't get intimidated by them. He is going to be a great puppy for his future family.

Here is a nice update and pictures from Eddie's new family. He certainly is a handsome boy and it is clear he is having a wonderful life. We are so thankful that Emily and CJ made him part of their family.

Hey Chasity!

We just wanted to write and give you a little bit of an update on Eddie. He is the most amazing dog, and fits into our household perfectly! Thank you so much for all the work you did before he came to our home; the transition was really wonderful. Everyone comments on how well-behaved Eddie is and how smart he is. We've attached a couple of updated pictures of him for you to see.Also, we recently got Eddie neutered. I've attached a copy of the neutering certificate. If you need a hard copy, just let us know.
